Laboratory of Synergetics and Chaos in Dynamical Systems

History of the Laboratory

The laboratory was organized in 2011 by the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Automation and Information Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic under the name “Synergetics and Nonlinear Dynamics of Control Systems”, then in 2013 it was renamed to “Nonlinear Dynamics and Self-Organization of Control Systems”, and from 2021 to “Synergetics and Chaos of Dynamic Systems”.

From 2011 to 2013, the laboratory was headed by Omorov R.O. From 2013 to 2020, the laboratory was headed by A.B. Bakasova. From 2021 to the present, the laboratory is headed by a member-corre. NAS KR Omorov R.O.

Main Research Areas

• The study of coarseness and bifurcation of dynamical systems, in particular synergistic systems and chaos, the development of their dynamic models and the synthesis of coarse and robust systems.
• Development of methods for assessing coarseness and robustness, forecasting bifurcations of dynamic and synergistic systems.

Key Research Results and Achievements

• The basics of the theory and method of topological roughness of dynamical systems are developed;
• The algebraic method of robust stability of interval dynamical systems has been developed;
• Coarseness and bifurcations of well-known synergistic systems, in particular, systems and attractors of Lorentz, Roessler, Chua, “predator-prey” and others, are studied.
